Name:
Kelsie O’Flanagan
Role within Service-Learning: Service-Learning Program Assistant, Service-Learning Team Manager, and Service-Learning Teaching Assistant for Community Learning

How are your values expressed through your community engagement and Service-Learning work?
I value working in the community in which I live and study, to ensure I’m stepping outside of the college bubble and interact with different stakeholders, to help work towards positive and enriching goals. I value working in groups of students, where we encourage each other to develop leadership skills and facilitate community engagement activities.

What is one thing everyone should know about Service-Learning?
The scope that Service-Learning covers! So many classes and colleges here at Northeastern are a part of our program, as our students on dialogues, study abroad and through NUin!

What is your favorite memory of Service-Learning?
My favorite memory is my first EXPO! There was live music, tons of my students and so much happiness around me.
