Lauren was first introduced to Service-Learning during her time in the N.U.in program in Greece during Fall 2016. When she returned to Boston in Spring 2017, Lauren started working with Jumpstart – an AmeriCorps program offered at Northeastern. During her the Fall of her second year, she continued working with Jumpstart as a Team Leader and was fortunate enough to connect her service experience to a Service-Learning class, Education in the Community.
The following semester she became a Service-Learning Teaching Assistant and continued in that role through the Summer 2018. Lauren was determined to stay connected with Service-Learning while on co-op. This past fall, Lauren decided to join the Street Team and hasn’t turned back since.
