What is one thing everyone should know about Service-Learning?
Service-Learning is one of the most fulfilling things you can do at Northeastern. We pride ourselves on experiential learning and the S-L program is my favorite form of experiential learning. It is a way to give back to the Boston community and grow as a person and make amazing friends while doing so. In the S-L program, everyone loves their service and each other.
Did you find Service-Learning or did Service-Learning find you?
Service-Learning for sure found me. My professor told us about the Service-Learning class she was offering the next semester. When she explained what Service-Learning was, I was immediately drawn to it.
If Service-Learning were a food, what would it be and why?
Pizza. Everyone loves pizza. Everyone loves their service. It comes in different varieties and sizes just like every S-L Teaching Assistant, Street Team member, and S-L Team Manager.
