I found S-L because I found out about this job on nucareer while applying for my first co-op. I was then officially welcomed to the community when I accepted the position.
What is one thing everyone should know about service-learning?
There are a lot of leadership opportunities in the Service-Learning program: S-LTA, S-LTM, street team, etc.
If your service-learning community was a color, what would it be and why?
Black. Black is the sum of all colors –absorption of all lights. It reflects that the Service-learning community is a diverse community, a colorful one. It might sound odd but if I can only pick one color to represent all the colors, it is black. Black is also the color of the universe – infinite possibility and very little has been discovered. The service-learning community also has infinite possibility moving forward. There are many more community partners, faculty members and students waiting to be contacted and brought into our community.
