Did you find S-L, or did S-L find you?
It’s the most beautiful relationship ever. We sort of just bumped in to each other. Love at first sight.
What Service-Learning classes have you taken?
Human Services Professions and Strategic Philanthropy and Nonprofit Management.
What S-L classes have you TA’d for?
Human Services Professions, Organizational Communication, and Marketing Research.
What is your favorite memory relating to Service-Learning?
That’s a loaded question right there. I really liked the first service-learning class I had, the human services one, because it was a great way to see Boston and feel that you were more than just a student and part of the Boston community. It helped me clarify a lot of career questions and pick relevant classes.
What would be your biggest piece of advice for a first-time service-learning student?
Go in with an open mind.
If you were a television or movie character, who would you be and why?
I’ll be Ellen from the Ellen DeGeneres show.
What has been your favorite meal that you’ve had at a Service-Learning Student Leader meeting?
Lily’s Pasta, 10 out of 10 I would do that again.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I just got back from co-oping in Cape Town for five months! Also I can tie my hair without a ponytail holder.
